Brighten Haiti is undertaking an ambitious project to install solar and computer labs at over 300 Haitian schools that don’t have basic electricity. This will provide electricity and a 21 Century Education to nearly 150,000 students.
Your Organization can sponsor a school to get solar Energy and a computer lab for just $6,000!
Brighten Haiti’s current campaign to deploy 300 solar systems throughout rural Haiti is the largest solar for schools initiative in Haiti’s history. Beginning Fall of 2022, the Brighten Haiti Solar Apprentices will begin installing solar energy systems on 300 schools in rural Haiti. Each rural school will receive a 3kW Photovoltaic (PV) system and a self contained computer lab with 2,300 books, the Wikipedia, Kahn Academy and Code Writing courses, all in Haitian Creole, French, English and Spanish.
These solar systems will provide schools with enough electricity to power the computer lab, high-efficiency lights, fans, and a few additional devices. These systems will provide schools with electricity for the first time ever!
As a 501c3 non-profit, your donations are tax deductible. No other charitable contribution can match the Impact Per Dollar Donated, as giving the gift of a Solar Powered - 21 Century education to 500 students for decades to come for just $6,000. If that is not enough, you will be helping 22 Solar Apprentices learn a trade that will last a life-time.
Brighten Haiti is fully transparent. As a sponsor, Brighten Haiti will dedicate a specific school to your organization. You will receive the name and stats on the school you sponsor prior to being installed. We will work with your marketing department on swag and banners that prominently display your logo as the sponsor of the schools’ Solar System and Computer Lab. Our videographer in Haiti will make a beautiful video of the students getting electricity for the first time thanks to your contribution.
