The Summer Solar Drive for Haiti is a transformative initiative by the US Solar Industry to finally bring electricity to schools, hospitals, families and businesses in Haiti.
Its hard to believe in 2024 most of Haiti still does not have electricity. This summer we will change that for thousands of people.
Running from June 20th to September 22nd, the campaign is a collaborative effort involving key solar industry partners, media outlets, and community supporters.
A whopping 5,000 solar panels have been donated to the Summer Solar Drive for Haiti project from Beacon Sponsor Onitility/BBBIndustries to power schools, hospitals and communities.
This campaign will provide the funds to ship these modules, Inverters and BOS to Haiti and massively change lives.

Solar4Schools is the heart of Brighten Haiti. Giving schools electricity brings their education from the 1800’s to the 21st Century overnight. Each school is gets a PV System, electrical outlets, LED Lights and fans in each classroom, plus a self-contain computer lab with 8,000 books in Haitian Creole, French, English and Spanish.
All installed by the Brighten Haiti Solar Apprentices for a fraction of traditional costs.
